Date Listed: Jul-10-08 Learn to play from the comfort of your own home or location (i.e. church, shop, etc…). Beginning and Intermediate Lessons available for all ages. Theory is taught but the major emphasis is placed on learning to play immediately. The goal is to get the student up and playing songs as quickly as you can learn, along with exercises to train your hand. The goal is to get you or your young person motivated by teaching songs that all will want to practice plus finding your personal identity or style in your playing skills. There are group rates available and if possible, groups work best when all the students are roughly at the same level. I have taught for 12 years on both guitar and bass. As a player, my years of experience are 37 years on guitar and 20 years on bass. I have 10 years with schools, summer schools, and drum and bugle corps on a variety of instruments.
